Fortune Tiger Guide: Rules, Official Figures and Where to Play It Legally in the Philippines
Fortune Tiger is PG Soft's 3-reel, 3-row video slot, with 5 paylines per PG Soft's game information, and almost everything that makes it distinctive happens in one randomly triggered respin feature. PG Soft publishes a 96.81% RTP, Medium volatility and a theoretical maximum win of x2500 for it. In the Philippines it is meant to be played only inside the lobby of a PAGCOR-listed platform, at 21 or over. This site offers nothing to install and no playable demo of it.
That covers the short answer. The rest of this page explains what a round actually looks like, how to read those three numbers without fooling yourself, why your social feed is full of claims PG Soft never made, and which platforms we have checked so far.

The PDF figures were checked on 1 November 2026. One caveat belongs right next to the table: operators can be supplied different RTP versions of the same title, so 96.81% is PG Soft's published figure, not a promise about the copy in your lobby. The version you are actually playing is stated in the game's own paytable or rules screen, and that is the number that counts. Our Fortune Tiger game page keeps the same spec sheet.
What a Normal Spin Looks Like on a 3x3 Grid
Most modern slots spread their action over five or six reels and hundreds or thousands of ways to win. Fortune Tiger goes the other way. Nine positions sit on the screen, and wins are counted along 5 lines rather than across every adjacent combination. A paying spin is easy to read at a glance, and a dead spin is just as obvious.
PG Soft launched the game for the New Year with a golden-tiger story: in its announcement, a golden tiger is born once every twelve years and brings lasting luck to whoever sees it. The symbols follow that theme. PG Soft names Chinese good-luck charms such as yuanbao (the boat-shaped gold ingot), the red packet that Filipino-Chinese families hand out at New Year, and the jade ruyi sceptre, alongside a Wild symbol that plays a part in the feature described below.
We do not reproduce the paytable here, for a practical reason: the values in your lobby are the ones that apply, and they are one tap away. Open the game, open the paytable from the game menu, and read it before staking anything. It shows what each symbol pays on a line.
The Fortune Tiger Feature and the x10 Full Board
PG Soft describes the game as a slot "featuring respins and x10 multiplier", and both parts belong to one mechanic. According to the PG Soft announcement:
- It can start on any spin. The Fortune Tiger Feature "may be randomly triggered during any spin". There is no meter to fill, no symbol count to reach and no counter you can watch.
- It keeps going while new symbols land. If one or more additional symbols appear on the reels, either the randomly chosen symbol or a Wild, all the reels respin again.
- A full board multiplies the win by ten. When all the symbols on the reels are involved in a win, the win is multiplied by x10.
In plain terms, the feature is a chain of respins that continues for as long as each stop adds something new, then pays out. The big moment players chase is the board ending up entirely in the win, which is what turns an ordinary payout into ten times that payout.
Two things follow from PG Soft's own wording. First, "randomly triggered during any spin" means the feature is not owed to you after a long dry run, and it does not come in scheduled windows. A hundred spins without it says nothing about the next one. Second, the x10 requires every symbol on the board to be part of the win.
The ceiling is fixed by PG Soft's figure of x2500 the bet. As simple arithmetic, a ₱10 spin has a theoretical maximum of ₱25,000 on a single game round. That is the top of the scale, not something to plan a session around.
How to Read 96.81%, Medium and x2500 Together
These three numbers answer three different questions, and most bad advice about Fortune Tiger comes from treating them as one.
RTP answers "what comes back on average over an enormous number of spins?" It does not describe your evening. An illustration: 300 spins at ₱5 is ₱1,500 wagered. At 96.81%, the theoretical return on that turnover is ₱1,452.15. A real 300-spin session can end far above or far below that figure; the average only shows up across millions of rounds.
Volatility answers "how bumpy does a typical session feel?" PG Soft rates Fortune Tiger as Medium on its own session scale. That means losing stretches and occasional bigger hits, with neither extreme being the norm. It is PG Soft's label on PG Soft's scale, so do not compare it directly with another studio's "Medium".
Maximum win answers "what is the rarest possible round worth?" At x2500, Fortune Tiger has the second-lowest ceiling of the nine PG Soft titles with published figures in our ranking; only Fortune Mouse, at x1000, is lower. Mahjong Ways, for comparison, carries x25000 in PG Soft's own figures. A smaller ceiling is not a weakness in itself; it simply means less of the game's return sits in once-in-a-lifetime rounds.
If you want to compare Fortune Tiger with nine other titles in our table on the same three numbers, our PG Soft RTP ranking lays them out side by side and shows how to find the RTP inside a game. It sits in the middle of that table, which surprises players who assume the most famous title must pay the most.
Why Your Feed Is Full of Fortune Tiger "Apps", Tigrinho Posts and Lucky-Hour Tips
Search for Fortune Tiger and you will run into a flood of content that has nothing to do with PG Soft: "Fortune Tiger app" pages, Portuguese-language "jogo do tigrinho" videos, posts promising the hour of the day when the tiger pays, and "hack" or "bug" tutorials. None of it comes from PG Soft, and most of it exists to get you to install something or sign up somewhere unlicensed.
A few facts cut through it:
- PG Soft does not take players. It is a B2B studio that supplies games to operators. There is no PG Soft player account, no PG Soft wallet and no PG Soft app for you to sign into. If you meet Fortune Tiger anywhere legitimate in the Philippines, it is inside a licensed platform's lobby.
- Standalone files are not official. An apk file passed around as a "Fortune Tiger app" is not a PG Soft release, and installing one means handing your phone and your money to someone you cannot identify or hold to account.
- There is no schedule to learn. PG Soft states that the feature may be randomly triggered during any spin. A "lucky hour" or "best time to play" chart contradicts the studio's own description of how the game works. The person selling the chart has no way of knowing what your next spin will do, and neither does anyone else.
- Hack and bug videos are a warning sign, not a shortcut. A video claiming a pattern of taps or bet changes that beats the game is often an advert for an unlicensed site, a paid group or a referral link.
To be clear about our own role: this site has no download, no app and no playable demo for Fortune Tiger or any PG Soft title. We do not embed unofficial copies, and we will not point you to anyone who offers them.
Where You Can Play It Legally in the Philippines
Legality comes in two separate checks: the game, and the site offering it.
On the game side, PG Soft games appear on PAGCOR's EGLD-approved electronic games list (as of 19 May 2026), published as POCKET-GAMES-SOFT.pdf on pagcor.ph. That list goes title by title, and Fortune Tiger is on it. Separately, PG Soft states on its site that it holds MGA and Gibraltar licences and BMM/GA certification; that describes the studio, not any casino that carries its games.
On the platform side, three platforms reviewed on this site have domains on PAGCOR's published lists and showed PG Soft content on public pages when we checked on 27 October 2026. They carry different levels of evidence, and we say so plainly:
| Platform | What we actually saw | How much weight it carries |
|---|---|---|
| BingoPlus | An indexed provider page filed under Pocket Games Soft, plus single-game pages on slot.bingoplus.com (public pages, 27 October 2026) | Strongest signal of the three; we have not seen the logged-in lobby |
| ArenaPlus | PG Soft single-game guides in its public Insider blog | Lobby category not confirmed |
| NuSTAR | A PG Soft game post on its public blog | Lobby category not confirmed; the least certain of the three |
None of this proves that Fortune Tiger is live in a particular lobby on the day you log in, because line-ups change without notice. Open on BingoPlus (registration required), then search the title or look for a provider filter labelled PG Soft or Pocket Games Soft. On ArenaPlus or NuSTAR, look for the same filter after registering, and do not deposit on the strength of a blog post if you cannot find the game. Our comparison of where to play PG Soft explains how each of these findings was made, and how to match a platform's exact domain against PAGCOR's published list yourself. Other licensed platforms may carry Fortune Tiger too; we only name the ones we have checked.
What Fortune Tiger Is Not Built For
Every slot suits some players and not others, and this one has clear limits.
- Chasing a life-changing multiplier. x2500 is the published ceiling. If a huge top prize is what you want, Fortune Tiger is the wrong game, and our PG Soft slots guide covers titles with larger ceilings.
- Variety within a session. There is one feature and a small grid. Some players love that simplicity; others find it repetitive after a few hundred spins.
- Practising before you pay. There is no playable demo on this site, and the only legitimate way to play is a real-money account on a licensed platform. Do not treat third-party "demo" copies as a free trial; you cannot tell what you are running.
- Earning money. A 96.81% RTP means the long-run average return is below what is wagered. Fortune Tiger is paid entertainment, and the price is the expected loss.
A Short Checklist Before Your First Spin
- Confirm the platform's exact domain is on PAGCOR's published list before you register.
- Find Fortune Tiger inside that platform's lobby, not through a link in a chat group, video description or social post.
- Open the paytable or rules screen and note the RTP stated there; if it is lower than 96.81%, that lower figure is the one that applies to you.
- Pick a peso amount you are comfortable losing, decide your bet size from it, and write both down.
- Ignore anyone selling timing tips, patterns or "hacked" versions. The PG Soft provider page keeps the official figures and legality notes in one place if you need to check a claim.
21 and Over, With a Limit You Set First
Fortune Tiger is for adults 21 and over, on PAGCOR-licensed platforms only. Its quick spins make it easy to play far more rounds than you meant to, so set your budget before you open the game and stop when it is gone rather than topping up. Medium volatility still allows long losing runs, and no feature trigger is ever owed. If gambling has stopped feeling like entertainment, call (02) 8248-9568, the National Problem Gambling Helpline, which PAGCOR publicises but which is not a PAGCOR number.
