ArenaPlus is the sportsbook arm of DigiPlus Interactive, the PSE-listed group that also runs BingoPlus and GameZone. If your question is simply "is Arena Plus legit", the check takes one minute: PAGCOR's List of PAGCOR-Accredited Gaming System Administrators and Registered Brands and Domain Names/URLs, as of August 20, 2026 carries Arena Plus as a registered brand under Total Gamezone Xtreme Incorporated (TGXI), with arenaplus.ph as the main domain. The brand and that domain are on the regulator's current list. What follows is what that does — and does not — get you.

Is ArenaPlus legit? Read the PAGCOR entry, not the badge

Every casino site in the Philippines prints "PAGCOR licensed" in its footer. The entry behind it is the part worth reading.

Two PAGCOR documents cover ArenaPlus. The Electronic Gaming Licensing Department's List of Service Providers and Registered Domains/URLs (as of 18 March 2025) lists TGXI at entry 56, with the game offerings Sports Betting, Electronic (eCasino) Games, Electronic Bingo (eBingo) Games, Specialty Games and Numeric Games, and the brands Arena Plus, Gamezone and Perya Game. The newer accredited Gaming System Administrators list (as of August 20, 2026) repeats Arena Plus under TGXI with arenaplus.ph as the main domain.

Two different DigiPlus companies appear against the ArenaPlus name, and it's worth knowing which is which before the mismatch worries you. TGXI is the entity accredited for Sports Betting — the row that carries Arena Plus in the August 2026 list. AB Leisure Exponent, Inc. (ABLE) sits at entry 1 of the March 2025 service-provider list under Traditional Bingo Games, with arenaplus.ph inside its registered URL block as well, and ABLE is also the seller name printed on the iOS app. Same group, same brand, different accredited entities per game type: DigiPlus presents BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone as its own platforms on digiplus.com.ph, and PAGCOR accredits its subsidiaries separately by game offering. So an App Store receipt from ABLE next to a PAGCOR sports-betting row for TGXI is the expected picture, not a red flag.

The practical takeaway: the licence attaches to a specific list of URLs, not to the name "ArenaPlus". A site using the brand on a domain that isn't in PAGCOR's published block is not covered by that entry, whatever it says about itself. Both PDFs are free to download from pagcor.ph, and searching them for "arenaplus" takes seconds.

Signing up: 21+, two government IDs, and the rule most people miss

PAGCOR's Gaming Site Regulatory Manual (Electronic Games), Version 3.0 sets the floor every licensed operator has to build on, and it is blunt about registration:

• A prospective player "must be twenty one (21) years of age at application."
• A prospective player "must show two (2) valid government-issued Identification (ID) cards, containing a photograph, name and date of birth". The manual's accepted list: Passport, Driver's Licence, PRC ID, Postal ID, Voter's ID, Barangay Certification with photo, TIN, SSS card, Senior Citizen card, ACR/ICR, and UMID.
• The operator must capture and store your complete name as it appears on the ID, date of birth, gender, civil status, nationality, ID type and number, and a current photo.
• The registration system has to screen new sign-ups against the National Database of Restricted Persons (NDRP) and block banned players.

The rule people trip over is who is barred outright. The same manual excludes "Persons under 21 years of age or students of any school, college or university in the Philippines" — so a 23-year-old enrolled in a Philippine university is on the excluded list, not just teenagers. Also excluded: public officials and employees, members of the AFP and PNP, PAGCOR staff, operator staff, and the spouse, common-law partner, children and parents of those groups. Bans can also arrive as self-exclusion, family exclusion, or a licensee-imposed order, and a banning order applies nationwide across licensed sites.

What we cannot confirm for you: ArenaPlus's own help-centre wording on document upload, selfie or liveness checks, and how long approval takes. arenaplus.ph returned HTTP 403 to our requests from outside the Philippines on 1 September 2026, so we could not read the operator's own KYC page. Plenty of pages will happily quote you an exact list and a "within 24 hours" promise; those pages are not the operator. Check the Verification screen in the app and treat anything else as hearsay.

Getting the app: iPhone is straightforward, Android is where people get burned

On iOS, the app is where you'd expect it. "ArenaPlus: Live Sports Betting" sits in the Philippine App Store under App Store ID 6443807361, with the seller listed as AB Leisure Exponent, Inc. — one of the two DigiPlus companies PAGCOR accredits against the ArenaPlus brand, not a third-party reseller. It's filed under Sports, free with in-app purchases, and rated 17+. That 17+ is Apple's content rating scale, not a legal age: the age to play at a PAGCOR-licensed operator is 21, and the operator's own registration check is what governs.

Android is the messier half. A search of the Google Play store (PH) on 1 September 2026 returned no ArenaPlus app from AB Leisure Exponent or DigiPlus. So Android users install from the operator's own domains — and PAGCOR's March 2025 list registers dedicated download domains for exactly that purpose: arenaplusandroid1.com and arenaplusandroid2.com appear in TGXI's registered URL block, alongside arenaplusios1.com and arenaplusios2.com. Note (checked 6 September 2026): the current PAGCOR list dated 20 August 2026 no longer carries those four download domains — only arenaplus.ph, arenaplus.net, arenapluspro.com and arenapluspro.net remain registered under the ArenaPlus brand, so treat the current list as the one that counts and check any download link against it before installing.

Use that list as your safety check. Search results for "arena plus app download" are crowded with look-alike domains, and an APK from a domain that isn't in PAGCOR's published block is not the operator's build — it's a stranger's file wearing the operator's name. Open the PAGCOR PDF, search for the domain you're about to download from, and if it isn't there, close the tab.

What you can bet on

The sportsbook is the reason to be here. Apple's store listing describes betting on NBA, PBA and PVL with live betting, live odds and live streaming, plus an attached online casino with slots, poker and table games. DigiPlus's own corporate site dates the brand precisely: "Launched in February 2023, ArenaPlus has become the go to sportsbook partner for major leagues and sporting events."

The regulator's paperwork backs up the wider footprint — TGXI's PAGCOR entry covers eCasino, eBingo, specialty and numeric games as well as sports betting, so the casino section isn't an unlicensed bolt-on. Deposits and withdrawals after the August 2025 BSP order

This is the part of every older ArenaPlus review that is now wrong, so read the dates.

On 14 August 2025 the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas issued Memorandum M-2025-029, directing BSP-supervised institutions to remove in-app gambling access from their mobile payment apps and websites within 48 hours. GCash suspended gaming access in GLife from 8pm on 16 August 2025; Maya pulled the equivalent entry from its Games feature. Reporting at the time noted that after the cut-off, balances sitting with gaming operators had to be reached through the operators' own sites instead. What disappeared was the shortcut, not the wallet. You no longer tap through from a GLife tile; you start from the ArenaPlus cashier and pick your e-wallet there. The operator's own current listing still advertises "fast deposits and withdrawals via GCash and Maya" (Apple App Store listing, checked 1 September 2026) — that is the operator's claim about its own cashier, and it's the claim you should verify on screen before you fund anything.

What we are not going to tell you: minimum deposit, minimum withdrawal, transaction fees, and processing times. None of these are published by the operator in a form we could check, and the pages promising you "withdrawals in 15 minutes" are guessing or repeating each other. Treat any specific number you see about ArenaPlus payouts as unverified until it's on your own screen.

Bonuses

Promotions rotate, and the amounts quoted around the web for ArenaPlus don't trace back to anything the operator publishes durably. So: check the Promotions tab in the app, read the wagering requirement and the market eligibility before you opt in, and note that a sportsbook bonus usually carries minimum-odds conditions that a casino bonus doesn't. We'd rather leave this section thin than print a peso figure we can't stand behind.

Pros and cons, stated plainly

Works in its favour

• The brand and arenaplus.ph are on PAGCOR's current accredited list (20 August 2026 edition) — verifiable by you, in a PDF, not just a footer badge.
• PBA coverage is the actual product. The book is built around Philippine leagues rather than treating them as an afterthought on a European template.
• The parent is publicly listed (DigiPlus Interactive, PSE: PLUS), so ownership and financial disclosure are on the public record — rare in this market.
• The iOS app is in the Philippine App Store under the licensee's own company name, which removes the sideloading problem for iPhone users entirely.

Works against it

• No Google Play listing we could find as of 1 September 2026, so Android installs mean vetting a download domain yourself — with a crowded field of look-alike arenaplus domains ranking in search.
• Withdrawal times, fees and minimums aren't published anywhere we could verify. You're accepting those terms sight unseen.
• Casino and slots depth sits behind the sportsbook. Fine if you're here for basketball; limiting if you're not.
• The site blocked our requests from outside the Philippines, so you can't read the terms or help centre before you're in-country.
• Eligibility is narrower than most people assume — students at any Philippine school, college or university are excluded by regulation regardless of age.

Who it's for, and who should skip it

Use it if you're 21 or over, in the Philippines, and your betting is mostly PBA, NBA or PVL; you want an operator whose licence entry you can pull up yourself; and you're comfortable funding from the operator's cashier rather than a wallet shortcut.

Skip it if you're a slots-first player, you're outside the Philippines, you need published payout times before you'll deposit, or you'd be installing an Android build without checking the domain against PAGCOR's list. And if you're enrolled at a Philippine school, college or university, the rules exclude you — that isn't a preference, it's PAGCOR's registration bar.

Set a deposit limit before your first bet, not after your first loss. Self-exclusion is available across PAGCOR-licensed sites and applies nationwide once ordered. 21+ only. Betting is entertainment, never income, and no outcome is guaranteed.
