Online Casino Bank Deposits in the Philippines: InstaPay, PESONet and Bank Fees Compared
If a licensed casino's cashier accepts bank transfers, most Philippine bank apps can now send the money for free. According to the banks' own pages, BDO, BPI, Metrobank and UnionBank charge nothing for InstaPay or PESONet transfers made in their apps, and GoTyme gives 20 free InstaPay transfers a month. InstaPay moves up to ₱50,000 per transfer in real time, 24/7. PESONet handles bigger amounts but settles in batches on banking days.
What decides whether a bank deposit works is the casino's cashier, not your bank. This page puts every bank's published fees and limits in one table, explains InstaPay and PESONet, and covers the checks that keep a bank deposit from going to the wrong place.
One Table: Fees and Limits by Bank
All figures come from each bank's own website or help center, checked on 19 September 2026. "Not published" means we could not find the figure on the bank's official pages; check it in your app.

LANDBANK publishes its fund-transfer fees as an image advisory, and its older InstaPay pages no longer load, so we have not quoted a figure. Our GCash and Maya transfer guide explains the two wallet rows in detail.
InstaPay vs PESONet in Plain Terms
Both are BSP-supervised systems for moving money between different banks and e-wallets.
InstaPay is for real-time, smaller transfers. BSP describes it as a system for payments of ₱50,000 and below, credited near real time. BPI and Maya both describe it as running 24/7, including weekends and holidays. For a casino deposit you want to use today, this is the usual choice.
PESONet is for larger or non-urgent transfers. BSP's PESONet FAQ says the recipient receives the full value within the same banking day, provided the transfer is sent before the cut-off. Each bank sets its own cut-off: BDO lists 3:00 PM and BPI 4:00 PM. A PESONet deposit made on a Friday evening may not reach the casino until Monday.
Two BSP rules protect you on either rail. The recipient "shall not pay for electronic crediting", according to the PESONet FAQ, and BSP Circular No. 1238 (June 2026) says person-to-person transfer recipients should receive the full amount without deductions. The same circular pushed banks to price interbank transfers close to their actual cost. BPI's press release announcing free transfers from 1 July 2026 cites it directly.
All the banks and wallets in the table are listed as InstaPay participants in BSP's participant list dated 31 August 2026.
How a Bank Deposit to a Licensed Casino Works
Operators set up bank deposits in different ways, and what is offered can change. The steps below are the general pattern. Follow the cashier's own instructions where they differ.
- Start on the cashier. Log in to the licensed operator's site or app and open the deposit page. Choose bank transfer, InstaPay or online banking if listed. If none is listed, that operator does not take bank deposits.
- Copy the details the cashier shows. This is usually a corporate account name and number, a QR code, or a redirect to your bank's online banking login. The account name should belong to the operator or its registered payment partner.
- Send from your bank app. Use InstaPay for up to ₱50,000 at once, or PESONet for larger amounts if the cashier accepts it and you can wait.
- Keep the reference number. Screenshot the confirmation until the deposit shows in your casino balance.
- Use your own account. Licensed operators match deposits and withdrawals to the verified player. Money from someone else's account can hold up your withdrawal. Our KYC guide explains why.
Withdrawals usually go back to a bank account in your name. Our withdrawal guide covers timing.
Red Flags Specific to Bank Deposits
- A personal account sent by chat. A "casino agent" asking you to transfer to a personal bank account or wallet is not the operator's cashier. Licensed operators take deposits through their own cashier.
- A fee to release winnings. No licensed operator asks you to deposit more before it pays you. Our breakdown of the withdrawal fee scam covers the pattern.
- A domain that is not on PAGCOR's lists. Before any transfer, check the exact domain. Our guide to spotting a genuinely PAGCOR-licensed casino walks through it.
- Card or crypto options. PAGCOR banned credit cards and cryptocurrency for betting at licensed operators. Our 2026 deposit rules explainer has the details. A site still offering them is a warning sign.
Which Rail Should You Use?
- Small, same-day deposits: InstaPay from a bank that does not charge for it. BDO, BPI, Metrobank and UnionBank currently list it as free in their apps.
- Larger deposits: PESONet, or several InstaPay transfers within your bank's daily limit. Remember the cut-off.
- Wallet users: GCash charges ₱10 per InstaPay transfer out. If the cashier accepts GCash directly, that is usually a wallet payment rather than a bank transfer. Our payment methods comparison covers every method side by side.
What This Page Cannot Tell You
- Which operators accept which banks. This differs by operator and changes over time, so we have not published a list. The cashier is the only reliable source. Our list of licensed platforms is where to start looking.
- LANDBANK's current fees, UnionBank's limits and Maya Wallet's transfer fee. We could not verify these on official pages on 19 September 2026.
- Your own limits. Banks can set lower limits by account type, and most apps let you lower them yourself. That is also a useful budget tool.
Free transfers make it easier to top up again after a loss, which is exactly when it is worth stopping. Set a deposit limit on the casino and, if needed, a transfer limit in your bank app. Our responsible gambling page lists the tools. PAGCOR limits play to people 21 and over, and its problem gambling helpline is (02) 8248-9568. For players 21 and over only.
