How to Play Crazy Time: Wheel, Bonus Games, RTP and Myths
Crazy Time is a live game show made by Evolution. A host spins a big money wheel with 54 segments. During a 15-second betting window, you place chips on the numbers 1, 2, 5 or 10, or on one of four bonus games: Coin Flip, Cash Hunt, Pachinko and Crazy Time. If the wheel stops on a number you bet on, you win. If it stops on a bonus you bet on, you play that bonus round. Evolution's own pages give the game a theoretical RTP of 94.41% to 96.08%, and they are clear that no spin can be predicted.
Evolution launched Crazy Time in July 2020 and says the stream runs 24/7. Every figure on this page comes from Evolution's official game pages or press releases, and each one is listed at the bottom with its source. Where Evolution publishes nothing, we say so instead of borrowing numbers from tracker sites.
One Round of Crazy Time, Step by Step
- Step 1, betting opens. You have 15 seconds, according to Evolution's rules page. You can bet on as many of the eight spots as you like.
- Step 2, the Top Slot spins. It spins together with the main wheel, and Evolution's Connecticut launch release describes it as a two-reel slot. It picks one bet spot and gives it a multiplier. Evolution's rules page puts the top Top Slot multiplier at 50x, and its US launch release describes these as random number generator (RNG) multipliers.
- Step 3, the host spins the wheel. The segment under the pointer decides the round.
- If a number lands: everyone who bet on that number is paid. The payout is boosted if the Top Slot multiplier landed on that number.
- If a bonus lands: only players with a bet on that bonus take part, and a Top Slot multiplier on that bonus boosts it too. Everyone else can watch. Evolution's game page is explicit that "only those who have placed bets on corresponding bet spots can participate and win."
That is the whole main game. What makes the show interesting, and what drives its biggest payouts, is the four bonus rounds.
The Wheel: What Evolution Says About the 54 Segments
Evolution's rules page confirms the wheel has 54 segments. It also names the bonus segments that matter most:

Evolution also gives an overall frequency. Its game page says players have "a 1 in 6 chance of landing a bonus round with each spin", and its rules page describes a bonus as triggering roughly every sixth spin on average, adding that this "may vary due to the game's inherent randomness."
Tracker websites publish exact segment counts and hit rates. We have not used them, because they are not Evolution's own figures. The rules panel inside the live table is the version that applies to your bets.
The Four Bonus Games
Coin Flip
Coin Flip triggers when the wheel stops on one of the four blue segments. Two random multipliers are generated, one for the red side of the coin and one for the blue. Then the coin is flipped, and the side facing up wins. Evolution says this bonus "can pay up to 5000x but needs a Top Slot multiplier of 50x." It also describes a Rescue Flip: if the multipliers come out low, the coin may be flipped again at no extra cost.
Cash Hunt
Cash Hunt triggers on one of the two green segments. A screen shows 108 random multipliers hidden behind symbols. The symbols are shuffled, and each player picks a target before the timer runs out. Because every player chooses separately, two players in the same round can win different amounts. According to Evolution's game page, the biggest Crazy Time win on record came from Cash Hunt: 25,000x on 11 December 2022, worth €2,815,169.
Pachinko
A puck is dropped down a wall of pegs and lands in a prize zone at the bottom. If it lands on a "Double", every multiplier along the bottom doubles and the puck is dropped again. Evolution says this repeats until a multiplier is hit or the maximum of 10,000x is reached.
Crazy Time
The Crazy Time bonus has only one segment on the wheel. It takes players to a virtual room with a much larger wheel. Before the spin, each player picks a coloured flapper: blue, green or yellow. Whatever multiplier sits under your flapper when the wheel stops is your prize. Landing a double or a triple increases the multipliers on the wheel. Evolution names this as the bonus with the highest potential win, 20,000x.
How Betting Works
- Eight spots. There are four numbers (1, 2, 5, 10) and four bonuses (Coin Flip, Cash Hunt, Pachinko, Crazy Time). You can cover any combination.
- Number payouts are in the game. Each number has its own payout, shown in the in-game paytable. The Evolution pages we read do not list them, so we do not quote them here.
- Bonus bets are tickets. A bet on Pachinko only matters when Pachinko lands. Then that bet becomes your stake for the bonus round.
- Table limits are set by the platform, not by this page. Evolution's pages we read do not publish peso minimums or maximums, so we are not quoting any. The limits show on the table when you open it.
Covering all eight spots does not cancel out risk. Each round the wheel lands on one segment, so most of your chips lose and only one spot can pay.
RTP and Maximum Win: What Evolution Actually Publishes

Some of these numbers do not agree with each other. The €2,815,169 record is above the €500,000 cap on the rules page. The 25,000x record in Cash Hunt is higher than the 20,000x "highest potential win" the same pages give for the Crazy Time bonus. The US press releases give 10,000x. Evolution does not explain the difference on the pages we read, and we will not guess at the reason.
The practical answer is the same either way. The maximum payout and RTP that apply to you are the ones in the help panel of the table you join, together with the platform's own terms.
Whichever RTP figure applies, it is below 100%. Over a large number of rounds, the game keeps a share of everything bet on it. A 96.08% RTP means an average long-run loss of about ₱3.92 for every ₱100 bet. It does not mean you get ₱96 back from any single session.
Can You Predict the Crazy Time Wheel?
No, and on this point Evolution is unusually direct. Its game page says each spin "is independent of the previous ones, rendering existing statistics useless for predicting future outcomes," and its FAQ answers "Can you predict the outcome in Crazy Time?" with a plain no.
That covers most of what gets shared around this game:
- "The wheel is due for a bonus." Every spin is independent, so a long run without a bonus changes nothing about the next one. The roughly one-in-six rate is an average over many spins, not a promise that a bonus will come soon.
- Stats trackers. Evolution accepts that sites publish recent results and says that following them may make the game more fun. It also says they cannot predict anything.
- Pattern apps, signal groups and "hacks." If the game maker says the outcome cannot be predicted, anyone selling predictions is selling nothing. Groups that pair "Crazy Time signals" with a link to a casino and a free-credit offer follow the same pattern we describe in our guide to fake free-bonus pages on Facebook.
- Betting systems. Doubling up after a loss or covering every spot changes how fast your balance moves. It does not change the RTP.
Is There a Free Crazy Time Demo?
Evolution's rules page answers yes to "Can I watch Crazy Time without placing bets?", and its game page says anyone can watch a bonus round. Watching a few rounds costs nothing, and it is the best way to learn how fast 15 seconds of betting goes.
A play-money version is less clear. Evolution's games website calls itself "a freeplay demo site" and adds that freeplay is "available subject to jurisdiction". When we tried to open it on 17 September 2026, it showed a region-blocked page, so we cannot confirm that a free-play mode is available to players in the Philippines. On licensed Philippine platforms, you normally need an account to open the live lobby at all.

Playing Crazy Time in the Philippines
Where. Crazy Time is an Evolution table, so it can only appear on platforms that carry Evolution's live studio. Our Evolution provider page lists which of the PAGCOR-licensed platforms on our site carry it. BingoPlus, for example, lists Evolution among its game suppliers. Search the live lobby for "Crazy Time" before you deposit, because carrying Evolution does not guarantee every Evolution title is there.
GCash. Many people search for how to play Crazy Time "sa GCash". Since BSP Memorandum No. M-2025-029, e-wallets no longer open casino games from inside their apps, and GCash removed its gaming entry on 16 August 2025. Our explainer on the GLife removal covers what changed. Any GCash deposit now goes through the casino's own cashier, if that casino supports it. You do not play from inside the wallet.
Who. PAGCOR licenses the operators that run these platforms, and its Responsible Gaming Code limits play to people 21 and over.
What Crazy Time Is Not Good For
Crazy Time is entertainment with a built-in cost. It is not a way to make money. Each betting window lasts only 15 seconds, so rounds come quickly and spending adds up fast. The biggest multipliers are rare by design, and chasing them is how budgets disappear. If a bonus round keeps "almost" happening, remember that the wheel has no memory.
Decide how much you are willing to lose before you open the table, use the deposit and session limits your platform offers, and leave when that amount is gone.
