GCash Account Limits and Casino Play: What Fully Verified Actually Changes
A Fully Verified adult GCash account can now hold up to ₱500,000 and can receive and send up to ₱500,000 a month, with up to ₱500,000 going out in a day. A Basic account holds ₱10,000 and moves ₱5,000 in and ₱5,000 out per month. Those figures come from GCash's limits table, which GCash says was updated effective 1 October 2026. Your GCash profile, not any website, sets that ceiling.
One thing to know before the numbers: GCash says that all licensed gaming top-up and withdrawal services were removed from GCash effective 16 August 2025. We could not confirm from any official page that a PAGCOR-licensed platform's cashier currently accepts GCash, so this page explains the GCash side only. It is not a deposit or withdrawal guide.
Correction (7 October 2026): Earlier versions of this article gave ₱100,000 as the Fully Verified limit, and a note dated 4 September 2026 said our figures matched GCash's table. GCash updated its limits table effective 1 October 2026, and the current Fully Verified adult limit is ₱500,000. That note is out of date and has been removed, and the article has been rewritten from the current table, which we re-read on 7 October 2026.
What are the GCash account levels and their limits?
GCash calls them profiles, and the limits depend on yours. This is the Help Center table for wallet and transaction limits as it reads today:
| Profile | Wallet limit | Monthly incoming | Monthly outgoing | Daily outgoing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | ₱10,000 | ₱5,000 | ₱5,000 | No limit |
| GCash Jr. | ₱100,000 | ₱100,000 | ₱100,000 | ₱100,000 |
| Fully Verified | ₱500,000 | ₱500,000 | ₱500,000 | ₱500,000 |
| GCash Platinum | ₱1,000,000 | ₱1,000,000 | ₱1,000,000 | ₱500,000 |
| 5M | ₱5,000,000 | ₱5,000,000 | ₱5,000,000 | ₱1,000,000 |
| 10M | ₱10,000,000 | ₱10,000,000 | ₱10,000,000 | ₱1,000,000 |
Source: GCash Help Center, What are my GCash wallet and transaction limits?, checked 7 October 2026. The page carries a note that the limits were updated effective 1 October 2026 and asks users to update the GCash app to see them.
Who each profile is for, in GCash's own wording:
- Basic: non-verified users, both minors and adults.
- GCash Jr.: fully verified users aged 7 to 17.
- Fully Verified: fully verified adults, GTourist and PowerPay Plus users.
- GCash Platinum: eligible Globe Platinum subscribers.
- 5M and 10M: eligible customers with certain active GCash investment and savings products, subject to approval. GCash's page lists GSave or GFunds, GBonds, GStocks and GCrypto.
Two details from the same page. The table shows no daily incoming limit for any profile except GCash Platinum, which has ₱500,000 a day. And the current table no longer has a GCash Plus profile, which older versions of this article and some older Help Center pages still mention.
Which GCash limit would you hit first?
The table holds three kinds of ceiling, and they bite at different moments:
- Wallet limit. The most money a wallet can hold at any one time. A Basic wallet tops out at ₱10,000.
- Incoming limit. The most a wallet can receive. GCash measures it per month, and also per day for Platinum. For a Basic account that is ₱5,000 a month, which a single decent transfer in can use up.
- Outgoing limit. The most you can spend and send, per month and per day. If you reach any limit, GCash says you can't use certain services until it resets on the 1st day of the following month or you upgrade your profile.
Linked accounts do not stretch these. Adults can have up to five GCash accounts linked to one customer profile; GCash says the highest limits apply to all of them, the limits are not combined into a higher total, and the funds received across all linked accounts cannot exceed your profile's incoming limit.
Bank transfers have their own rules on top. GCash's InstaPay and PESONet cash-in page says InstaPay takes up to ₱50,000 per transaction and PESONet can be more than that. The page that explains sending money to banks and e-wallets lists a ₱10 InstaPay fee per transaction, effective 4 July 2026, but states no per-transaction ceiling, so we quote none for transfers out. That cash-in page was last edited before the 1 October update, and its monthly incoming figures of ₱100,000 for Fully Verified and ₱500,000 for GCash Plus no longer match the limits table. We follow the limits table, and your app shows what applies to you.
How do you get to Fully Verified?
For an adult with a Basic account, verifying is how the limits go up: GCash says an adult on Basic can increase the limit to ₱500,000 by getting fully verified. Minors on Basic can reach ₱100,000. Platinum is handled by Globe directly.
For Filipinos aged 18 or older with a PH SIM, GCash's verification page asks for one valid government ID and lists these steps:
- Tap Profile, then Verify Now, then Get Started.
- Enter the 6-digit code sent to your number.
- Enter your birthday and confirm you are a Filipino citizen.
- Scan your ID, then take a selfie scan, then review and submit.
GCash says you get an update through SMS after 3 days. GCash's accepted-IDs page says the ID must be valid, not expired, clear and the actual physical card; scans and photocopies are not accepted, except for the National ID. Accepted IDs for adults include the National ID, passport, driver's license, UMID, SSS ID, PRC ID, postal ID and Pag-IBIG Loyalty Plus. Other routes exist for Filipinos abroad, foreigners living in the Philippines and visiting foreigners on GTourist, with different requirements, so use the verification page that matches your situation.
Two limits on this. GCash says downgrading to a lower limit is currently not available, so a higher profile is a one-way step. And we are not quoting a verification fee or a guaranteed turnaround beyond what GCash writes: the pages we read state the SMS update after 3 days and nothing more.
Can you still use GCash at licensed gaming sites?
GCash's Help Center says that, in compliance with BSP Memorandum M-2025-029, all licensed gaming top-up and withdrawal services were removed from GCash effective 16 August 2025 and the Games service is no longer available in the app (checked 7 October 2026). For money left in a gaming account from before then, GCash tells users to coordinate directly with the licensed gaming merchant. The story of one of those entries is in ArenaPlus is gone from GCash GLife.
That wording does not say whether a licensed operator's own cashier can take GCash, and we could not confirm that from any official page. So we do not name any site as a GCash option and we do not give a deposit or withdrawal method. What a cashier accepts is up to the operator and can change. If a PAGCOR-licensed platform's cashier does list GCash, the GCash limits above still apply on your side:
- Money you send counts against your outgoing limits. A payout to your wallet would count as money received, so it is bound by the incoming limit.
- A payment above a limit will not go through, whatever the cashier says. Your own figures are under Profile, then Profile Limits, in the app. Update the app first if it still shows old numbers.
- The operator can have its own minimum and maximum on top of GCash's. Read the cashier before you confirm.
- If a page asks you to Send Money to a personal GCash number instead, stop. That is not a checkout. Our GCash deposit guide covers what to check first.
What a higher limit does not change
- It is not a budget. A ₱500,000 ceiling is what GCash allows, not an amount to move. Set your own limit well below it before you play.
- It does not make a site safe. Only PAGCOR-licensed platforms belong in this conversation, and a match on the exact website address against PAGCOR's official lists is the check that counts, not a logo.
- It is not your identity check at an operator. Verifying with GCash is a separate step from any identity check a gaming platform runs itself.
- It does not bend to support chat or workarounds. GCash says it may update, set or pause limits to follow BSP regulations and anti-money-laundering mandates. Do not use another person's account to move money; that is the kind of activity those rules exist to stop.
- Separate limits exist for some services. GCash says its Card, GSave and GCrypto have their own limits in addition to the wallet table.
Gambling is for players 21 and over. If it stops being fun, the 24/7 National Problem Gambling Helpline (NPGH) takes calls at (02) 8248-9568. PAGCOR announced it in its memorandum of 21 May 2026, which says the hotline is not a PAGCOR number and cannot connect calls.
